Happy March!
We hope that everybody is having a good start to their year and is ready for spring time! We sure are ready to get outside and play ball with Zephyr.
As the weather gets warmer and we transition into spring, we want to take a second to remind people to apply flea and tick medicines if you have taken a break from them during the winter months. Ticks are most active when the temperatures outside is just above freezing to the 50s/60s. Preventative medicines are by far the best way to deal with these pests. We have several varieties of flea and tick meds at the shop so if you have any questions, please let us know when you stop by.
As busy as we have been with grooming, we have also had more cancellations and no-shows than usual. Due to this, we are going to be instituting a cancellation policy for our grooming department. We are going to require at least 24 hours notice for all cancellations moving forward. Short notice cancellations as well as no-shows will now have a 25$ fee assessed to your account that must be paid at or before your next scheduled grooming appointment. We can and likely will make exceptions for true emergencies as we all know that life happens to everyone and sometimes it happens fast.
