Halloween may technically be for people, but try explaining that to the dog watching you open a bag of snacks. Keep chocolate, candy containing xylitol, wrappers, glow sticks, and other Halloween goodies out of reach of pets. And if your dog or cat isn't a fan of costumes, doorbells, strangers, or general Halloween chaos, giving them a quiet place away from the action can make the evening a lot easier.
