Happy July!
We hope everybody had fun at Canal Days and are ready for the heat of July. On that note, please be sure when it is hot outside that you are taking precautions with your dogs when outside with them.
Keep walks significantly shorter than normal and make sure to walk on surfaces that are not asphalt whenever possible. Take water for the dog (s) whenever you are doing any activity outside with them. DO NOT LEAVE THEM IN A CAR that is turned off for any reason when the temperature is above 70ish degrees. Temperatures inside the car can reach 115 within 30 minutes of shutting the car off in just 75 degree weather. Provide cooling areas or toys/treats such as a kiddie pool in a shaded area or a frozen lick mat or popsicle treat to lick on and cool off. Lets all chill through the heat of the summer.
We have been super busy at the store with our new groomer. We have opened her schedule up to 5 days a week already so she will be here on all days that we are open! We are currently booking full service appointments around 2 weeks out! Give us a call to get onto our schedule.
Lastly, it is time to announce our Yearly Customer Appreciation Raffle! Every
year we select 2 winners to receive a Year’s supply of products or services from our store. Winners will receive a $70 credit every month to use at our shop however they like. It can be used on foods, toys, other supplies, and grooming!
Tickets are 5$ each and can be purchased in our store. There are only 200 total tickets that will be on sale for the month of July or until sold out. Winners will be drawn and contacted on August 1st. Tickets usually sell pretty quickly so make sure to get your entries in as soon as you can!
